Juan José Hernández Martínez, from the Fishing Club of Puerto de Mazarrón, won last Saturday, March 16, the individual regional championship at the Costa Costa Championship held in the waters of La Manga del Mar Menor.

After six hours of competition, the Fishing Club of Puerto de Mazarrón added its second consecutive championship.

Recently Juan José Hernández Martínez also qualified with Miguel Ángel Méndez Acosta for the Spanish Duos Championship to be held in the waters of the Region of Murcia next May.

Likewise, the club athletes, Francisco Jesús García and Miguel Ángel Méndez have obtained the classification to be able to compete in the next months their promotion to the regional high competition group.
