The elders of our municipality have celebrated their traditional day of coexistence on the occasion of the Patron Saint Festivities.
The meeting, held in the tent of the fairgrounds of Los Rincones, began past 13:00 with a paella for all attendees.
The day has had the visit of the Minister of Family of the Autonomous Community, Violante Tomás, who again, accompanied by the mayor, Alicia Jiménez, wanted to share one of the most prominent events in the annual agenda of our elders.
At the end of the meal, the Queen and Mister have been elected, whose charges have finally fallen to María Fenollosa and Pedro Méndez.
Different performances and the interpretation of the corals of Mazarrón and Puerto and a chorus rociero have entertained the attendees who have returned to fill the festive tent to enjoy the event.
