The hotels, pensions, apartments and campsites recorded an average occupation of 95% during the week of the August bridge.
Separately, hotels registered 92.3%, pensions reached 96% and apartments and campsites 95%.
According to the data collected by the Tourism Office, the origin of visitors who have requested information in their facilities is mostly national, with 38% of users in the Region of Murcia, 40% of other Spanish provinces (mainly from the Community of Madrid) and a 23% origin from other countries, mainly French and British, but also German, Dutch and Belgian.
The forecast of occupancy for the remainder of the month of August, according to data collected by the Department of Tourism, is 85%.
Mazarrón has 990 hotel beds, 167 apartments with 972 beds and three campsites with 2524 beds.
