A tent with cinema and virtual reality projects the regional heritage on the promenade (13/07/2018)

'A cinema heritage' begins in Mazarrón its itinerant tour through the coastal municipalities of the Region, with free activities of virtual reality, new technologies and summer cinema on regional heritage, adapted to all audiences.

The mayor, Alicia Jiménez, has received the visit of the Minister of Finance, Fernando de la Cierva and the mayors of San Pedro del Pinatar and San Javier, Visitación Martínez and José Miguel Luengo, to present an activity traveling in an itinerant way throughout the regional coast.

The activity consists of a tent that will be installed every week in a municipality, with five seats equipped with the most advanced virtual reality devices, which allow the visitor to travel through time to know what the Roman Theater of Carthago Nova was like in the 1st century. dC, reconstructed digitally.

On the outside of the tent you can enjoy summer cinema with the uninterrupted projection of several documentaries on regional heritage, such as the production of science fiction 'Heroes of Heritage', 'Middle Ages: Rey Lobo y Nogalte' or 'Geología de the Region of Murcia '.

"We repeat this experience for the success it has had in the two previous years, with 5,000 visitors in 2016 and more than 6,000 in 2017, and we added the latest creations of the Integra Foundation, such as the virtual reality game 'Carthago Nova', which We premiered last May and will now be available to anyone who wants to try it, "said the counselor.

The activity is completely free and will be available from 20:00 to 24:00 hours, for two days in each location.

After his visit to Mazarrón this week, on July 19 and 20 he will be at Paseo de la Constitución de Águilas, on July 26 and 27 at Mistral beach in La Manga, on August 2 and 3 at La Mota beach of Lo Pagán, on August 9 and 10 at the Castillico beach in Santiago de la Ribera and, finally, on August 16 and 17 at the Paseo de la Concha in Los Alcázares.
